Guide to Transfer Document Certifications

We are delighted to welcome you to the SES family for the upcoming academic year. To ensure your child’s enrollment is fully compliant and registered with the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), there are several mandatory transfer documents and attestations that must be submitted.

Note: Certain documents must be officially certified in your child’s current country of residence before your arrival in UAE.

To help you navigate this process and avoid any delays in your child’s first day of school, we have outlined everything you need below. Please review the following checklist carefully to ensure you have all the necessary paperwork ready for submission.
 

Registration Steps
To make this process as smooth as possible, please ensure the following steps are completed:
 
  • Document Submission: Please keep the following documents ready with clear copies of your child's Emirates ID, Passport, UAE Pass or Sponsor.
  • Attested Records: For students transferring from outside the UAE or from other Emirates, please ensure you have submitted the attested Transfer Certificate (TC) and the most recent Report Card.
  • The SPEA Portal: Once we have uploaded your documents to the systems, you. may receive a notification or request to verify details via the SPEA parent portal or "Tamam" platform.
     
Important Reminder
To officially register a student with SPEA, the following documents must be submitted within one week of joining SES.

 
SPEA Registration requirements
FS1, FS2 and Year 1
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (student)
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (sponsor/parent)
  • Scanned photocopy of student vaccination records
  • Sponsor UAE Pass application on mobile
Year 2 to Year 12: Transferring from a school in the UAE
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (student)
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (sponsor/parent)
  • Scanned photocopy of student vaccination records
  • Sponsor UAE Pass application on mobile
  • Final School Report
  • Transfer Certificate - should be attested from the Ministry of Education of the Emirates transferring from
Year 2 to Year 9: Transferring from a school outside the UAE
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (student)
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (sponsor/parent)
  • Scanned photocopy of student vaccination records
  • Sponsor UAE Pass application on mobile
  • Final School Report
  • Transfer Certificate, this Transfer Certificate should be attested from:
    • The Ministry of Education/Education Office/Solicitor from issued country.
    • The UAE Embassy or Consulate from issued country
    • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sharjah, UAE
Year 10: Transferring from a school outside the UAE
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (student)
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (sponsor/parent)
  • Scanned photocopy of student vaccination records
  • Sponsor UAE Pass application on mobile
  • Final School Report, should be attested from the below:
    • The Ministry of Education/Education Office/Solicitor from issued country.
    • The UAE Embassy or Consulate from issued country
    • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sharjah, UAE
  • Transfer Certificate, this Transfer Certificate should be attested from the below:
    • The Ministry of Education/Education Office/Solicitor from issued country.
    • The UAE Embassy or Consulate from issued country
    • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sharjah, UAE
Year 12: Transferring from a school outside the UAE
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (student).
  • Scanned photocopy of valid Emirates ID (sponsor/parent).
  • Scanned photocopy of student vaccination records.
  • Sponsor UAE Pass application on mobile
  • Final School Report for Year 11 (GCSE/IGCSE) should be attested from the below:
    • The Ministry of Education/Education Office/Solicitor from issued country.
    • The UAE Embassy or Consulate from issued country
    • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sharjah, UAE
  • Transfer Certificate, this Transfer Certificate should be attested from the below:
    • The Ministry of Education/Education Office/Solicitor from issued country.
    • The UAE Embassy or Consulate from issued country
    • The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Sharjah, UAE

As per SPEA requirement Equivalency Certificate is a must to have for all new students applying for Year 12 coming from outside the UAE. Please follow the steps and apply through the Ministry of Education website with the link given below:
