LEARNING PATHWAYS

We believe that this is best achieved by providing children with able, professional teachers who will get to know the students they teach.  Staff use a range of engaging learning opportunities to provide work that challenges each child to think for themselves and to participate fully in co-curricular activities such as school trips, Enrichment, Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA), Mental Health Day, International Award and a host of other exciting opportunities. We also expect students to contribute to assemblies and to engage in activities during class time.

ENRICHMENT

We aim to offer something for everyone, and encourage students to pick a range of ECAs both to develop existing skills and to develop new skills and unearth hitherto unknown talents and abilities. Our ECA offerings therefore cover a wide range of interests, including sports & fitness, mindfulness, the creative and performing arts, literature, programming, science and Academic Societies.

PASTORAL CARE

The five houses provide a wonderful opportunity for many different activities at SES. Each academic year we host house sporting and non-sporting activities. The activities not only allow students to explore their talents, they also allow them to practise and develop the character and social skills that will be of critical importance to them in later life. Parents are encouraged to develop a relationship with their son or daughter’s tutor and also their Head of House so that the school and parents can work together to help each child fulfil their potential.

OUR ADMISSIONS PROCESS

VISIT US

Book a tour at Sharjah English School and discover the SES difference. We have a spacious green campus where students enjoy facilities that support a well-rounded curriculum, including core subjects, dedicated areas for sports, music, arts, and drama, along with specialised ECA programs across the school.
APPLY ONLINE

Submit your application online. Make sure to have the following information ready: Student’s passport copy, Student’s latest school reports. UAE residency visa and Emirates ID if applicable.
BOOK ASSESSMENT

Once your application is received, we will contact you to book an assessment date for your child. A confirmation of assessment fee payment must be submitted to be eligible to sit for the assessment test.
CONFIRM OFFER

Within 4 working days, the Admissions Team will get back to you with your offer status. Once an offer is made, please make sure to confirm your place within 4 working days by making the deposit payment of 5,000AED (refundable against the last term’s fees).
COMPLETE REGISTRATION

Complete the registration process by submitting all required documentation as listed below.

  • Student’s passport copy with valid UAE residence visa
  • Student’s valid Emirates ID copy
  • Students Birth Certificate
  • Student’s latest school reports
  • Transfer certificates with the required attestation
  • Student immunisation card copy
  • Sponsor’s passport copy with valid UAE residence visa
  • Sponsor’s valid Emirates ID copy
  • Sponsor UAE Pass application on mobile
  • Completed medical record form
